After organizing Ist UP Prawasi Diwas at Agra in Jan. 2016, NRI Deptt, Govt. of UP with CII under chairmanship of Hon'ble C.M. has successfully organised its IInd UP Prawasi Divas at Lucknow on 4 - 6 January 2017.

Mauritius was given the status of partner country of the event and its delegation led by Hon'ble Minister of Art &Culture had attended the event.

U.P. based diaspora residing in 25 different countries had attended the event with great enthusiasm.

The awardees of U.P. Apravasi Ratna Puraskar for the year 2016 were also honoured during the event.
